electrical, plumbing and heating systems.

WATER SYSTEM DESIGN BASED ON NEED, NOT THE WALLET

The biggest mistake in water system design is going the cheapest route. We wouldn't put in a furnace to heat 1/2 of our house or put on 1/2 of the roof, yet the water system seems to be the first place the customer will try and shave off the most money.

In reality, the water system is one of (if not the most) important aspect in your house. At MDC, we design your water system based on two major factors: NEED AND LOCATION.

There are many elements to consider when sizing the system:

   1. WELL DEPTH & PUMPING LEVEL
   2. SQUARE FOOTAGE
   3. DISTANCE & ELEVATION TO HOUSE
   4. CURRENT AND FUTURE OUTDOOR PLANS
   5. # OF BATHROOMS
   6. # OF STOREYS
   7. # OF PEOPLE
   8. LIVESTOCK
   9. # OF HOMES & ALL OF THE ABOVE FOR      EACH

WE'RE POSITIVE WE WON'T BE ABLE TO SCHEDULE YOUR JOB THE FASTEST
AND WE WILL NOT BE THE CHEAPEST BID YOU GET.

WHAT WE ARE POSITIVE OF - OUR GOAL, which is to provide you with a quality water system based on your needs at a fair price. UNDER SIZING as well as OVER SIZING a system will cause the equipment to operate outside of the optimum performance curve, which in turn will cost more to operate and shorten the life of the equipment. Over sizing can also have undesirable effects on fragile formations.

That brings us to the 2nd factor in sizing your system; location. Well depths will vary greatly from one area to another. Because we live in such a dynamic landscape, depths can be quite different from block to block and in some cases lot to lot. Over 25 years of experience has given us a large database of information regarding well depths, static levels, well yields and formations.

Sure, you can cut back on size and install cheap products, but in the long run, you really do get what you pay for. Not only will the system fail to meet your demands, premature equipment failures are almost guaranteed. The $1200 you save today may well cost three times that in replacement or upgrades in just a few years.

"I have no qualms with the man who has a lower price.
After all, he knows better than anyone the quality of his work"
